Cookie Policy

Last updated: 26 August 2026

This policy explains which cookies and similar tools are used on this site, what they are for and how you can change your choices at any time. It is provided pursuant to Art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and to the Provision of the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (Italian Data Protection Authority) of 10 June 2021 on cookies.

1. Data controller

Piacersi — Owner: Fratangelo Pina (sole proprietorship) — Viale XXIV Maggio 140 — 86100 Campobasso (CB), Italy. VAT number and Tax Code 01541480701. E-mail info@piacersi.shop — telephone 0874 698703.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website saves on the device of the person visiting it. They are used to make the site work, to remember the user's choices and, in some cases, to collect statistical or advertising information. Some are essential, others are not: for the latter the law requires prior consent, which must be freely given and revocable.

3. Strictly necessary technical cookies

They are installed automatically because the site cannot work without them. They do not require consent (Art. 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003). On this site they are the following:

Cookie Purpose Duration
_shopify_essential Keeps the session active, protects forms from automated submissions and enables the cart and checkout to work. Session / up to 1 year
cart, cart_currency, cart_sig Store the contents of the cart and the chosen currency from one page to the next. Up to 14 days
localization Remembers the selected country and language. Up to 1 year
secure_customer_sig, keep_alive Keep you signed in to the customer area after authentication. Up to 1 year
_tracking_consent Records the choice made on the cookie banner, so that it does not have to be requested on every visit. Up to 1 year

These cookies are set by the Shopify platform, which hosts the site and acts as data processor on behalf of the controller.

4. Analytics and marketing cookies

They are installed only after consent has been obtained through the banner that appears on the first visit. They are used to measure the site's performance and, if active, to personalise marketing communications. Until consent is given, these cookies are not installed and no data is sent for these purposes.

As at the date of last update shown at the top of this page, no third-party analytics or advertising tools are active. Should any be introduced, this policy will be updated before they are activated.

5. Third-party content

Some parts of the site may display content hosted by external providers — for example the map of our premises, provided by Google.

This content is not loaded automatically: in its place a preview with a button is shown. The connection to the provider, and therefore the disclosure of the IP address, takes place only if that button is pressed. Anyone who does not press it makes no contact whatsoever with the external provider.

For the map, the provider is Google Ireland Limited; the related processing is described in Google's privacy policy.

6. How to change or withdraw your choices

Consent can be changed or withdrawn at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing already carried out:

  • from the cookie banner, which can be reopened from the link at the bottom of every page;
  • from the browser settings, which allow you to block or delete cookies already stored. Instructions can be found in the help section of the browser in use (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).

Please note: disabling strictly necessary technical cookies may prevent the cart, account sign-in and checkout from working.

7. Data transfers

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases the transfer takes place on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or of an adequacy decision, as stated in the privacy policy.

8. Rights of the data subject

You may exercise at any time the rights provided for by Articles 15-22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability — by writing to info@piacersi.shop. You may also lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (Italian Data Protection Authority) (www.garanteprivacy.it).

Full information on the processing of personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy.
