The Magik is a Black Star curling iron available in five diameters: 9, 13, 19, 22 and 25 mm. Choosing the diameter means choosing the result, because the narrower the barrel, the tighter the spiral.
The 9 and 13 mm models create a small, well-defined curl, while the 22 and 25 mm give a soft, wide wave; the 19 mm sits in between. Five sizes in the same family make it possible to vary the hairstyle while staying with the same line of tools.

The ritual, step by step

Before you start
Hair dry, detangled and protected with a heat protectant.

Wrap
Take a thin section and wrap it around the barrel, from root to tip.

Count
Hold for a few seconds and release the curl into the palm of your hand: there it cools and holds its shape.

Set
When all the curls are cold, open them with your fingers and set with a light hairspray.

Warning
The barrel stays very hot: use the glove supplied and rest the iron only on its stand.
