Straighteners
The Black Star Platinum titanium flat iron comes in three sizes, Maxi, Medium and Slim, and in several finishes: plum, black and antique pink. The Maxi version has wide plates, which cover more of the strand with every pass.
It is therefore the size that cuts working time on long or thick hair, while the narrower versions are the ones to choose for smaller jobs. Titanium heats up quickly and holds its temperature, which matters when many passes are repeated in the same service.

Apply a heat protectant and comb to detangle.

Low temperature on fine or bleached hair, higher on thick hair: always start with the lowest setting that works.

Thin sections, a single continuous pass from roots to ends, without stopping on the same spot.

Maintenance
With the plates cold, remove product residue with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
