The Diffuser 385 BIG by Parlux is the accessory dedicated to the Parlux 385 PowerLight dryer, in the wide-bowl version. The manufacturer describes it as a professional diffuser made with materials chosen to last, with an attachment designed specifically for the 385 PowerLight that ensures a quick, precise and secure fit.
The wide bowl takes in more hair at each placement, so it is suited to long lengths and thick hair, where curls and waves must be dried in a diffused way without being disturbed. The dryer it pairs with is declared by Parlux at 2,150 watts, an airflow of 79 m³/h and a service life of 2,200 hours. The diffuser is sold as a single piece and is aimed at hairdressers who already use the 385 PowerLight and want to complete their kit for natural drying.

The ritual, step by step

Fit
Push the diffuser onto the hairdryer nozzle until it clicks.

Apply
On towel-dried hair distribute a curl product, scrunching the section upwards.

Dry
Rest the section in the bowl and bring the diffuser towards the head without moving it: the curl forms if it stays still.

Do not comb
Once dry, do not run your fingers through the curls, or they frizz.
