The Melody silencer fits onto the hairdryer to cut down sound waves during the service, which helps both the stylist standing at the station all day and the client in the chair.
The body is in highly impact-resistant material and weighs 52 grams, so it does not upset the balance of the dryer in the hand. Air is drawn in radially around the chamber and a filter inside absorbs vibration; a sound-insulating rubber surrounds the body of the appliance. It clips quickly onto the filter holder.
