The Black Star Platinum steam flat iron leaves hair soft and shiny by using the moisturising power of water vapour: the heat does not dry out the fibre, it works it damp. It is suited to both straight and wavy styles.
The water tank is removable and there is a safety lock. Temperature is adjustable from 150 to 250 °C, heating is fast with instant recovery of the set value, and automatic shut-off is electronic. The 2.5 metre cable swivels 360°.

Fill the tank
Use demineralised water: tap water leaves limescale and soon blocks the steam holes.

Before you start
Hair dry, detangled and protected with a heat protectant.

Straighten
Thin sections and one continuous pass: with steam you need fewer passes than when dry.

After use
Empty the tank once the straightener is cold, so water does not stagnate inside.
